New public policies permitting access to restrooms, locker rooms, changing rooms, and other private spaces based on a person’s gender identity, rather than their biological sex, are being enacted across the country as part of an effort to push a new liberal political agenda. But this unapologetic harmful agenda not only disregards common sense and basic privacy concerns, it also ignores safety concerns, including a large group of unintended victims: sex abuse survivors.
